In 1830 Louis Victor and Pierre Joseph Celestin Baume established the Society Baume Freres commencing the passion for quality watches and innovation that continues today, in 1855 the Baume Brothers moved to the Jura Mountains region of Switzerland, in 1920 the trading name was born Baume & Mercier in Geneva.
